MOR is a church seeking to establish the kingdom of God by speaking the truth of the gospel with the demonstration of power through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, sharing the love of Christ with all those we meet and reach out to.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be a church that truly reflects the body of Christ here on earth, in every dimension of its life, work, and people—a real church impacting real change.
Our Story
MOR Church was born not in a building, but in obedience. In 1966, Dorothy Dyer (1921–1988) and her husband John Abel Dyer (1911–1979) began holding family services in their home in East London. What started as a simple gathering soon grew into a house church — and by 1968, MOR Church was officially formed at Elmsdale Road.
Over the following decades, the ministry moved between rented halls as it grew — Unity Hall, Druids Hall, Valentine Road, and The Green School — each location marking a season of expansion, testing, and prophetic development. In 1987, MOR Church purchased its first permanent home on Higham Hill Road, and in 1988 made the prophetic shift to Saturday Sabbath worship — a bold move that would later be confirmed when Sunday trading was legalised in the UK in 1994, just as Dorothy had warned.
Following the passing of Dorothy in 1988, her son Noel Dyer became the Presiding Bishop and continues to lead the ministry to this day.
MOR Church continues today, grounded in truth, obedience, and prophetic legacy — not just telling history, but living it. The ministry now operates in London (HQ), Nottingham, Cardiff (Wales), and Barbados.
